SCHOOL STARTS BACK FOR AUTUMN TERM

TUESDAY 2ND SEPTEMBER AT 8.45am

A message from Miss Mann and Mrs Statham

As the summer term draws to a close, we would like to congratulate our school community on another fantastic year. To our pupils, who amaze and delight us with their love of learning, excellent behaviour and readiness for learning. To our parents and families, who continue to build positive relationships and support the school's Christian ethos and love of learning.

Finally, to our staff at St. Andrew's, who work extremely hard to ensure all pupils are able to flourish in a happy, safe and trusted environment. With an excellent Ofsted inspection report this year, the staff will enjoy a much-deserved rest over the summer, ready to begin a new term in September.

We say goodbye and good luck to our Year 6 pupils and wish them well as they move on to secondary school. We also say thank you and goodbye to two teachers - Ms Michelle Steven (3W) and Mrs Chris Moore (RW) - and thank them for their time at the school.

Finally, we say a fond farewell to Mrs Mary Symns, one of our Learning Assistants in RB. Mrs Symns has been at the school since 2008 and will be retiring this year. We thank her for all the pupils she has supported over the years and wish her well in her retirement.

Next term, we welcome Miss Rachel Emmerson, our new RW teacher, Miss Sophie Izzet, who will be returning to 3W from her maternity leave and Mr Peter Joannou, who will be our new site manager.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

What a fabulous year from the PTA!

We are so incredibly lucky and grateful to the small, but utterly dedicated team of PTA members, who has helped to raise over £21,000 for the school this year.

With some schools in Enfield not even having a PTA due to the commitment needed from parents, it is even more important to recognise just how important St. Andrew's PTA has been in enabling our school to purchase much needed resources, as well as support bigger projects.

From a storage shed in the RW garden to the soil, plants and pebbles needed for the Quiet Garden, from the Year 6 Bibles to our fabulous privacy fencing - they really have exceeded our expectations. Every single event needs huge amounts of planning, time, commitment and expertise. So thank you to Selin and her team for a wonderful year.

PE Awards

Last week, Coach Kymani awarded one pupil from each class a special certificate for PE. The certificates were given for showing great teamwork, resilience and effort and for demonstrating improvement in a skill. Well done to all our winners.

Music Awards

Here are our latest awards for pupils who have been working really hard in their keyboard and piano lessons. Well done to all of the children. We look forward to celebrating more musical achievements next term.
